2017 was a great year for us at Divine Weddings. We worked with so many fabulous clients at so many amazing venues across Manitoba. But there is one wedding that stands out as my favorite – my sister’s wedding. I had the honour of not only helping my sister with the planning of her wedding but was lucky to be a bridesmaid as well. My wonderful team stepped in for the day to coordinate every detail, and it was amazing.
It was so much fun working with some of my favorite vendors in the industry – thank you so much for your hard work and creative brilliance in making this day as amazing as it was, and for making my sister so happy.
Cielo’s Garden is one of my favorite venues – a beautiful gem of a venue with a clear top tent, stone chapel, and the most hardworking owners that are so lovely to work with. A heavy rainstorm came through (thankfully once all the guests were inside the tent) and the owners were on site, happy to help and to make sure everything was ok.
Everything came together perfectly, and it’s so wonderful looking back at all the photos and remembering the memories our family created that day.
Stay tuned for their wedding video coming to the blog in the next few weeks!
Last summer, on Canada Day long weekend, we ventured up to Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park for a fun celebration of love and family. Amber and Matt tied the knot in a lovely outdoor ceremony, had a Canada Day afternoon party for their guests complete with lawn games, and then celebrated with a reception at Danceland – a gorgeous cabin-like venue with wooden beams and rustic charm.
It’s so bitter cold outside. Who’s sick of winter? Me! I have been dreaming of warm summer days – like the gorgeous day we were in Plum Coulee, Manitoba for Samara and Darrin’s summer tent wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better day for these two lovebirds. The sun was warm and the sky was blue with the perfect scattering of white clouds. The kind of weather you hope for on your wedding day.
It was such a pleasure working with Samara and Darrin and the best part was watching two people that are so in love tie the knot and become a family with their young son. Their wedding video will be hitting the blog in the next few weeks – be sure to keep your eye out for this one. It’s a real tear jerker!
In the meantime, enjoy these STUNNING images from our friend Melissa at Sugar and Soul Photography.
Last summer, myself and some fabulous vendors went on a little adventure…and this little beauty of a styled shoot was born. I had been dreaming of doing a mermaid inspired shoot for a while and with the help of a few friends ‘Kiss The Girl’ was born.
Everything came together so perfectly – the stationery, cake, flowers, decor, dresses, jewelry, hair and make-up – all the vendors captured my vision perfectly. And the photos, just wait until you see them. Ally did such a phenomenal job. So proud to have been a part of such an amazing shoot!
