Once in a while, a wedding comes along that is so much fun! Cherry-Mae and Jay-R’s Canad Inns Club Regent wedding was just that.
These two are so in love, and I could see it from the first day I met with them. The entire day reflected their fun personalities and deep love for each other.
The day started with a beautiful ceremony at Leo Mol Sculpture Garden and ended in celebration at the Canad Inns Club Regent Hotel. Every detail was glam, glam, glam. They wanted their guests to be blown away when they walked into the reception – with the spectacular decor and dramatic wedding cake – their vision definitely came to life!

Whitetail Meadow is a new wedding venue that opened up this year, so we were pretty pumped to have our first wedding there in August.
Not only is Whitetail Meadow a gorgeous venue, but working with Renne and Carson was a dream. They are such beautiful people, inside and out, and it really showed on their wedding day. From beginning to end, the entire day flowed so nicely and everything turned out beautifully.
The Floral Fixx rocked the florals once again! And the cupcakes, you have to see these cupcakes by Tanya Porcher! So pretty. And of course the beautiful bride – her dress was so gorgeous!
As we are wrapping up our last wedding of 2018 (it’s a NYE wedding, and it’s going to be awesome), it’s nice to reflect on all of the beautiful weddings we were able to be a part of this past year. Looking forward to our 2019 weddings, and a few at Whitetail Meadow. Can’t wait!
Enjoy these stunning images by Charmaine Mallari, and thanks to all these vendors for helping to make Renee and Carson’s wedding so amazing!
I have been bursting at the seams waiting to share this wedding with you all! Alex and Chad are not just fab clients – they are also the FUNNEST people and have been friends of mine for the last few years. So I was over the moon excited to help them with their big day!
Alex and Chad wanted a unique venue and came across Grö Greenhouse – such an amazing location! Greenhouse in the summer, amazing wedding venue in the fall! The clear glass walls and ceiling made it the perfect spot for their day. They were also able to host their ceremony on the property which was ideal.
Alex’s mom Beverly is a creative wizard and created many of the decor items, including the flower wall and even the light up LOVE letters on the dance floor. Amazing! I loved all the wooden tables and benches too – warmed up the space nicely. The room came alive after sunset and created magical ambiance with the string lights on the ceiling.
Every teeny tiny bit of this wedding has gobs full of gorgeousness – including the bride and groom. Such stunners! I love Chad’s suit and tie, and Alex’s dress and flower crown were absolute show stoppers! Yum-oh! You’ll see in the photos below…stunning.
Congrats my friends. It was an incredible pleasure working with you both!
A touch of rustic, gobs of pretty, and a whole lot of love. Lorissa and Dan’s wedding at Ashgrove Acres was the perfect mix of everything you need for the loveliest of summer weddings.
Ashgrove Acres has never been so pretty – between the gorgeous flowers, perfect rustic details, and the most stunning bride ever, it was an absolute delight to have been a part of this day. Lorissa and Dan made it so easy – chill and relaxed and surrounded by so much love. It was an amazing day.
Are you ready for all this prettiness? Enjoy these gorgeous images by Pantel Photography!
Now, this was a fun wedding day! Cherry-Mae and Jay-R are such beautiful people and they were so much fun to work with!
We helped coordinate their big fat Filipino wedding at Canad Inns Club Regent this past summer and I am excited to share a clip of their wedding video by Rygiel Photography & Video. See the entire video here.
We’ll be posting their wedding photos in the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
Kelly and Cole were married at the Radisson Hotel last month, and I really can’t say enough about how awesome it was to work with these two amazing people!
We work so hard to make every couple’s wedding day as spectacular as possible, and when they are over the moon happy and go out of their way to send us a thank-you message, it makes all of the hard work worth it.
“I need to text you! Firstly, I owe my life to you. Thank you so much. Today is my first day back to work and the whole office is raving about the day. You made it perfect for us. Thank you so much for everything. And for everything you did that I don’t even know about!” ~Kelly
We always love working with Ashgrove Acres – such a beautiful country wedding venue. So we were thrilled when Jess and Eric chose it to tie the knot.
Everything about this wedding was F-U-N. From the bride’s green sneakers to the lawn games at cocktail hour, Jess and Eric wanted to have a day that truly reflected their style and showed their guests a great time – mission accomplished I’d say!
I adored the colour palette that Jess chose. Deep green, black and white with natural touches. The natural green grounds of Ashgrove Acres provided the perfect backdrop! It was really the perfect venue for this awesome couple.
Congrats to Jess and Eric and big thanks to all the vendors that made it such an amazing day for them both.
I just love when I come across beautiful goodies! While doing some internet surfing I found Christina and Mark’s same day edit at The Gates on Roblin. This gorgeous wedding is from a few years ago, but I still wanted to share it with everyone because it was such a fabulous day. Two amazing people, so in love. Enjoy!
I love weddings at The Forks – the Oodena Circle is such a unique location for a wedding ceremony, and Inn at the Forks is a top notch wedding venue. With both locations being so close to one another, it’s the perfect one-stop local for a beautiful Winnipeg wedding.
I had the amazing pleasure of working with Rebecca and Sean to bring together their wedding at The Forks this summer. Not only are they super nice people, but they are so darn cute together! I was so happy to be a part of such an amazing day.
We also got to work with Peggy from Winnipeg Wedding Photographers Collective, which is always fun. Check out her amazing images below!
We had such an amazing summer here at Divine Weddings – so many awesome weddings and THE BEST clients!
Kayleigh and Brandon were no exception. These two lovebirds tied the knot back in July at Willow Grove Orchard in Argyle, Manitoba. The cutest little rustic piece of wedding goodness you have ever seen! Every inch of this space was perfect for Kayleigh and Brandon’s country wedding – from the rustic barn to the outdoor bar area – it’s filled with quaint country charm. Megan Steen Photography captured all the beautiful details perfectly!
These two are so in love – it was such a pleasure working with them to create this amazing day for them and their young son.
Congrats Kayleigh and Brandon, and big thanks to the vendors for making this day so freakin’ awesome!
Camp Manitou is a hidden gem in Winnipeg. Nestled in the trees alongside the Assiniboine River – the 28 acres of dreamy forest area was the perfect spot for Stephanie and Andrew to say I do!
And when I say dreamy, I mean DREAMY! The gorgeous outdoor ceremony was tucked away in the forest like something in a movie. Take a look for yourself – the images by Izabela Rachwal captured the pure magic of this amazing location.
The entire day was such a celebration and we were so happy to be a part of it. Congrats Stephanie and Andrew!
We got to hang out at Whitetail Meadow in Niverville this past weekend with Renee and Carson for their stunning wedding! What an amazing day with some pretty amazing vendors!
Whitetail Meadow is such a stellar wedding venue! Looking forward to more weddings at this gorgeous place! Floral Fixx rocked the florals – those centrepieces! LOVE! Tanya Porcher created the most incredibly detailed cupcakes! And then Charmaine Mallari – photographer extraordinaire – sent me over these little sneak peek tidbits today that I just couldn’t wait to share with you all. Absolutely gorgeous images!
Thanks to all the vendors involved for giving Renee and Carson the best day ever! Keep checking back for the full feature of this breathtaking wedding.
I was thinking back to Amber and Matt’s awesome Canada Day wedding last year in Clear Lake. WHAT. A. BLAST! They were married in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony and held their reception at Danceland – you can see the original post here. But in between their ceremony and reception, they planned an AWESOME Canada Day backyard party to keep their guests entertained. What a fabulous idea! They had plenty of Canadian themed decor, patriotic props, and fun lawn games to keep guests busy.
I wanted to share some photos of the backyard party with you today that didn’t make the original post – doesn’t this look like so much fun!
I had the best time working with Jessica and Matt to plan their wedding at Fort Whyte Alive last summer. If you’ve ever been to this Winnipeg venue then you know just how gorgeous this place is. It was the perfect location for their summer wedding. The natural elements tied in perfectly with their vision and worked so nicely with the wildflowers used in her bouquet and in the decor. I absolutely love the wedding arch they were married under – The Floral Fixx did such an amazing job – it was gorgeous!
The rain made an appearance in the morning but thankfully stopped in time for photos and the outdoor ceremony – phew!
It’s been fun sifting through their photos and looking back on such a great day. Enjoy these awesome images from Victoria Anne Photography!
The snow is all melted and I am ready for summer weddings!
There’s nothing like a gorgeous August wedding to get me pumped for the coming wedding season. You might remember Courtney and Chris’ wedding feature (you can see it here if you missed it). A gorgeous wedding at The Rustic Wedding Barn in Steinbach, Manitoba. It was such an amazing day and I am really excited to share their wedding highlight video from 111 Films with you today.
Photos capture all the details from the day, but a wedding video captures the love story.
I am so excited to share this wedding with everyone today. Not only was this wedding at one of my favourite wedding venues in Winnipeg – Bridges Gold Course – but it’s also the wedding of a very dear friend. Brittany and I met years ago and were also tag team wedding assistants with Divine Weddings when I first started wedding planning. So I was very honoured to help her and Gilbert celebrate their big day.
I love the trend of the First Look – Brittany and Gilbert decided to share their First Look moment with their wedding party and close family. I love everyone’s anticipation and excitement when Brittany walked out to see Gilbert for the first time. Awwww. They also had the cutest little people in their wedding party – just wait until you see the images of their ring bearer helping the two little flower girls down the aisle – cuteness overload!
The whole day turned out so great and I loved seeing my beautiful friend marry her best friend.
Erika and Vince were married in a romantic ceremony in the concert ballroom of The Fort Garry Hotel. The romantic touches and pretty decor made this wedding day spectacular from beginning to end. Their love for one another was felt in every moment and every detail. Check out their feature here.
The brilliant folks at The Picture & The Poet captured their love perfectly and put it all together into this gem of a highlight video. Seeing Vince get emotional when talking about Erika will give you some serious lovey dovey feels!
Last August we got to help Courtney and Chris with their beautiful wedding at The Rustic Wedding Barn in Steinbach. To say it was one of the prettiest little rustic weddings we’ve ever seen would be a total understatement! A soft pink colour palette, gobs of greenery and a red hip roof barn – it was rustic perfection.
It’s always a pleasure planning weddings and being a part of bringing couples together in marriage – you can’t get much better than that! Working with Courtney and Chris was extra special – not only are they a gorgeous couple that is deeply in love, their adorable son was also a part of the celebration. It was so awesome watching them celebrate their little family with their guests.
Check out the images from this gorgeous wedding and keep your eyes out for their wedding highlight video coming to the blog in the next few weeks!
Who wants to see something super pretty? Erika and Vince’s wedding at The Fort Garry Hotel was full of the most elegant details and romantic touches. Not only was this wedding beautiful, but the bride and groom are so crazy in love, and that’s always a bonus. 🙂
From the romantic flowers and candlelight to the personal touches like the paddles for guest books and pine tree wedding favors, every inch of this wedding reflected Erika and Vince’s love and personal style. Just wait until you see the gorgeous wedding ceremony – so romantic and pretty!
Best of all, Erika and Vince and their families were so awesome to work with. My girls and I really enjoyed helping them celebrate their love day!
Jennifer and Mike’s wedding at Cielo’s Garden last September was an incredible day full of love, family, and celebration. From the very start of the day to the very last dance of the night, every cherished moment was captured perfectly by our friends at 111 Films.
A meaningful wedding ceremony, a gorgeous tent reception, and a beer pong kissing game – what more could you possibly ask for in a wedding day! Check out their wedding feature here to see the stunning images from this outdoor vintage wedding day and watch their wedding highlight video below. It’s bursting with love and happiness 🙂
There is nothing better than an outdoor wedding on a beautiful summer day. Samara and Darrin’s stunning wedding in Plum Coulee, Manitoba had everything an awesome outdoor wedding should have – a stunning couple exchanging vows in a beautiful outdoor ceremony, amazing outdoor wedding photos in grassy prairie fields, and a gorgeous wedding tent with a rocking reception.
Samara and Darrin are SO IN LOVE, which can clearly be seen in their wedding highlight video by Prairie Film Co. They brilliantly captured all the laughter, love and happy tears that surrounded the day. I am so happy for these two and their little boy.
Check out their wedding feature here to see all of the amazing images from their wedding day.
In the meantime, get some tissues ready because this wedding video is going to give you all the ‘super in love, can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you’ kind of feels.
2017 was a great year for us at Divine Weddings. We worked with so many fabulous clients at so many amazing venues across Manitoba. But there is one wedding that stands out as my favorite – my sister’s wedding. I had the honour of not only helping my sister with the planning of her wedding but was lucky to be a bridesmaid as well. My wonderful team stepped in for the day to coordinate every detail, and it was amazing.
It was so much fun working with some of my favorite vendors in the industry – thank you so much for your hard work and creative brilliance in making this day as amazing as it was, and for making my sister so happy.
Cielo’s Garden is one of my favorite venues – a beautiful gem of a venue with a clear top tent, stone chapel, and the most hardworking owners that are so lovely to work with. A heavy rainstorm came through (thankfully once all the guests were inside the tent) and the owners were on site, happy to help and to make sure everything was ok.
Everything came together perfectly, and it’s so wonderful looking back at all the photos and remembering the memories our family created that day.
Stay tuned for their wedding video coming to the blog in the next few weeks!
Last summer, on Canada Day long weekend, we ventured up to Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park for a fun celebration of love and family. Amber and Matt tied the knot in a lovely outdoor ceremony, had a Canada Day afternoon party for their guests complete with lawn games, and then celebrated with a reception at Danceland – a gorgeous cabin-like venue with wooden beams and rustic charm.
It’s so bitter cold outside. Who’s sick of winter? Me! I have been dreaming of warm summer days – like the gorgeous day we were in Plum Coulee, Manitoba for Samara and Darrin’s summer tent wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better day for these two lovebirds. The sun was warm and the sky was blue with the perfect scattering of white clouds. The kind of weather you hope for on your wedding day.
It was such a pleasure working with Samara and Darrin and the best part was watching two people that are so in love tie the knot and become a family with their young son. Their wedding video will be hitting the blog in the next few weeks – be sure to keep your eye out for this one. It’s a real tear jerker!
In the meantime, enjoy these STUNNING images from our friend Melissa at Sugar and Soul Photography.
